We can organise your transfers to and from Sierra Nevada!
Let us do the work of organising your transfers from Málaga airport, Granada airport or Granada city up to your accommodation in Sierra Nevada. We can arrange either a private taxi or a minibus (depending on numbers) which will take you straight to your hotel or apartment and will return you to the airport or to Granada at the end of your stay.
You will need to pre-book the transfers with us so we can make the necessary arrangements.
As a result of the constantly changing fuel costs, transport companies are having to alter their tariffs accordingly. Please contact us for up to date transfer costs.
Car hire
Hiring a car is, of course, another option and there are plenty of options at both airports and in Granada itself. Car hire may initially appear cheaper than arranging a taxi or minibus, but you need to factor in:
- Fuel costs
- Parking costs in the resort (if no parking space is included with your accommodation). More details on the Parking page.
- You won´t need a car whilst you are staying in the resort unless you are planning a day-off from skiing to go down to Granada and visiting the famous Alhambra Palace (we can arrange tickets if required)
- Sometimes snow chains are needed to reach the resort (more about this below)
- Some clients have reported very long delays waiting for their car hire at the airport
If you are staying in an apartment rather than a hotel, then bear in mind there is nowhere in the resort to leave your luggage after checking out. So, if you’re planning on skiing on that last day, having a hire car would give you somewhere to keep your luggage until you’re ready to leave.
Public Transport
The Tocina bus company operates a bus service from Granada main bus station to the resort but it is quite limited: there are 3 trips per day during the week and 4 at weekends and on bank holidays.
