Description
“The Mountains” hotel is the new name for the previously named “Ziryab” hotel having now been taken under new management. It has undergone significant reforms in it’s common areas with plans to fully refurbish the bedrooms in place over the next couple of seasons.
The hotel is ideally located in the central “Plaza de Andalucia”, barely 100 metres from the main lifts up to the ski area and amidst the principle commercial area an a host of bars and restaurants to accompany. The hotel is noted for its architectural take of up-market Alpine style, and offers 147 rooms of varying sizes to accommodate 1 to 4 people according to the type of room. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, WIFI and HD television. The majority have views of either the mountain or the valley.
– Double rooms will be equipped with either two single beds or a double bed.
– Triple rooms are normally equipped with two single beds set side by side and a further single bed in another area of the room.
– Quadruple rooms usually consist of two single beds pushed together and a set of bunk beds.
Premium rooms are generally larger with perhaps some decorative differences. For example a standard double room is around 26m2 compared to the Premium double rooms which are about 33m2.
Rooms with wheelchair access are available on request.
The hotel has a restaurant, a cafeteria and comfortable lounge areas to relax in after a hard day on the slopes. WIFI is available in the public areas.
Both B&B and half board (breakfast and evening meal) options are available. The buffet breakfast is served between 8 and 11am. The buffet evening meal is served from 8 til 10.30pm.
The hotel has ski lockers as well as a changing area with showers for the day of departure.
There is direct lift access to and from the public car park located beneath the hotel.
Only open during the ski season.
