This lovely hotel is of traditional Alpine style, with attractive old wood, antiques and lots of character. It is an independent, family-run hotel, and offers a friendly and more authentic atmosphere than the other 4* international-style hotels in the resort. It is located just two sets of stairs above the Central Squares – the area where the lifts up to the ski area are located together with the majority of shops, restaurants and bars.
The 67 en-suite rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. All are exterior rooms and have satellite TV and an internet connection.
– Family rooms for four (quadruples) usually consist of two single beds plus a bunk bed.
– Duplex rooms for up to four people are also available. These usually have two single beds (each 90 cm wide) downstairs and two upstairs. These rooms are great for parents who want to be in the same room as the children whilst having a bit of space from them! Please note that there is a set of steep steps between the two floors, making these rooms unsuitable for very young children or guests with mobility difficulties.
For most of the season only half board (breakfast and evening meal) bookings are accepted.
The spacious lounge and bar areas are perfect for relaxing after a good day out on the slopes. The kids will love the games room, and WiFi is available in the public areas as well as in the rooms.
Use of the small pool and mini-gym is free of charge to residing guests, whilst a mini-spa consisting of thermal baths, sauna and jacuzzi is available at extra cost. Swimming hats for the pool are obligatory and not included, but can be purchased at the hotel.
The hotel has its own car park with limited spaces. Parking cannot be pre-booked and is on a first come, first served basis. There is an additional charge for this. In the event that the car park is full or you prefer to pay less, the public car park is close by.
