From the Miramar building it’s only about 100 metres walk up to the mid-stop of the Parador chairlift or a short walk of about 10 minutes down a series of steps to the central squares. The four minute Parador chairlift ride takes you down to the central squares of the lower zone – the area where the main gondolas which take you up to the ski area are located, together with the majority of shops and restaurants.
Skiers who are confident on red runs also have the option of using the Aguila piste, the last section of which runs beside the Miramar building with a rough track cut in across from the building (subject to snow cover). This takes you down to the lower zone where you can hop on the Borreguiles gondola and access the main ski area without using the Parador. At the end of the day´s skiing, the same track can be used to return to the accommodation rather than skiing all the way down to then take the Parador chairlift back up again.
These are good quality modern apartments where a little extra has been spent on furnishings and decoration to create a bright and comfortable environment.
This smart triplex is, in fact, two apartments knocked into one and very nicely reformed into a FOUR bedroom unit with sleeping for up to 12 people. There are two full bathrooms. The bedroom distribution is as follows: On the lower floor there is a twin bedroom with two single beds; a bedroom with a set of bunk beds; and a bedroom with a 150cm wide double bed. On the middle floor is the master bedroom with a 200cm wide double bed. On the top floor are two double sofa-beds in the same common space. Two or three extra beds can be provided on request for larger groups, making it possible to sleep 14 guests in total.
The main living area is essentially open plan and very well illuminated with many windows providing great natural lighting. The kitchen is well equipped with a full size fridge-freezer, oven, four ring induction hob, coffee maker etc. Of the two bathrooms, one is an en-suite with shower cubicle to the master bedroom on the middle floor whilst the other is separate, also with shower cubicle, WC and washbasin.
Since there are various apartments for rent in the Miramar building, this one in conjunction with one or more of the others will enable even larger groups to stay close together and in greater comfort.
This triplex comes with TWO parking slots included within the same building. There is also free use of the swimming pool (swimming hats may have to be purchased) and gymnasium. Ski lockers are provided by the exit closest to the piste.
