Description

This small and attractive apartment building was completed in 2009, offering a higher class of apartment compared to many of the other buildings found in the resort. More attention to aesthetic details, the materials used and furnishings all contribute to a higher quality living standard. The location is one of the best in the mid zone, being right next to the mid-way stop of the Parador chairlift which provides access down to the central squares of the lower zone where the main gondolas up to the ski slopes are located. In addition, it is about 200m away from the Maribel piste which drops down to the lower part of the village and the main lifts, thereby providing access to and from the pistes for blue run skiers without the use of the Parador lift (NB piste open subject to snow cover).
This “attic” duplex is located via lift access on the 5th floor of the building. It offers a warm and comfortable living environment ideal for larger families. Occupying around 114m2 of living space, the apartment comes with four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, providing accommodation for up to six adults and two children.
Upon entry is a brightly lit master bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and access to a balcony shared from the living area. The lounge offers a welcoming open plan environment. This bright room has a fireplace and is a comfortable area to relax in. One of the sofas converts into a double sofabed, just in case someone doesn´t want to share a bedroom. Leading off from one side, there is a separate dining area with a bar at the far end and a long table, sufficient for seating up to eight people. The small kitchenette is adjoined to the living area without division. It is small, but the limited workspace is increased by the use of a table placed nearby. The fridge is a good size and there is an oven, four-ring electric hob, microwave and dishwasher. On this floor is also a bathroom.
The stairs leading to the first floor are a little steep, so please bear this in mind if travelling with small children or people with mobility difficulties. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one with double bed and wardrobe, another with bunk beds (each bunk bed is 90cm wide) and wardrobe. Under the eaves is another bedroom which is only suitable for children as the two single beds are just 160cm long. On this floor is a good sized bathroom with a large corner bath and shower attachment.
The management company also looks after two smaller apartments in this same block (Studios Sabica 1 non private-bedroom), so larger groups which would like to stay close together may like to consider renting one or both of these as well.
Parking is usually available on request at time of booking at extra charge.
A security deposit may be requested upon arrival. This will be refunded in full upon departure after a satisfactory check of the condition of the apartment.
