These two apartments are in a great situation in the mid-zone, being almost opposite the mid-stop of the Parador chairlift. It´s just a four minute ride down to the central squares of the lower-zone where the main gondolas are located which take you up to the ski area. Those skiers of lower-intermediate level or above (not complete beginners) also have the option of using the nearby “Maribel” piste which is roughly 5 minutes’ walk away in ski boots. So rather than using the Parador, you can ski down to the gondolas and central squares. At the end of the day’s skiing, those competent enough to ski blue runs will also be able to ski back to this area without the need to take the chairlift back up to the accommodation.
The apartment block is a short distance away from the main nightlife scene as well as some good restaurants, and there are also a couple of small general stores to hand for necessary supplies.
The apartments have been tastefully reformed to offer practical facilities for up to six people in each. Both have direct street access from their front doors and, apart from a small flight of steps from the street outside, there is no need for lift access to reach them.
Both apartments have the same bed arrangement. Of the two bedrooms, the master has a double bed with wardrobe and the second bedroom has a bunk bed, also with wardrobe. There is also a single sofa-bed in the lounge area.
Being compact, the apartments may feel a little cramped when used to their maximum capacity of five people.
The main living space is open plan comprising a kitchenette, table and chairs and TV. The bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, WC and washbasin.
Underground parking in the building opposite is available on request (at extra cost). Alternatively, during quieter periods, there is plenty of free street side parking in the vicinity.
These two apartments are a feasible option for larger parties looking to stay close together. And there is further potential for even larger groups when combined with the El Duende Blanco hostal nearby.
